Our Story

Andhra Dairy Farms is located in the Mittathmakuru village,Gudur Mandal ,SPSR Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Andhra Dairy Farms is the cherished vision of its Founder-Director Shri Panta Vijay Mohan Reddy. Their focus is on the production of high quality farm products that include milk, ghee, butter, paneer, dung and urine. The basic idea of ADF is to promote the rearing of for their milk, and to create awareness among farmers about the inordinate potential of milk business.
As we hail from the farming community, we understand the challenges faced by all other farmers. Most important being, vagaries of weather like floods and drought, few buyers of paddy, and the inability to get the right pricing for the crop. There was a great need to find out the viable and alternative farm businesses. There was no mass production of cow and buffalo milk as the traditional method of rearing and drawing of milk was very limited. The farmers could spare very little for rearing of cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats. Andhra Dairy Farms aims to change all this with the introduction of innovative and massive dairy business.
We could pool in few resources like money and land, and establish Andhra Dairy Farms. The total area of the dairy includes 12 acres, and houses separate enclosures for cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats, and organic poultry/hen-farming. Andhra Dairy Farms focuses primarily on production, packaging and distribution of cow and buffalo milk. In addition to this, we will also supply meat and eggs of organic poultry. The dedicated farm will ensure adequate supplies of milk that is packaged and distributed through a network of retailer businesses.
Andhra Dairy Farms has a two-fold objective to achieve. First, to create viable and sustainable farming and poultry business that will benefit all the farmers of the region. Next, we like to bring the high quality and nutritious milk and other farm products that will have a direct bearing on the customers’ health and happiness. milk has been in focus in India, for quite some time. New breeds of that ensure higher output of milk are now available.
Andhra Dairy Farms will buy milk and other farm products from farmers. We will encourage the rearing of the new breeds and promote the production and supply of high-value driven, and nutritious milk across the region. PRODUCTION PROCESS

Andhra Dairy Farms follows the traditional as well as modern methods of processing and production of milk. Almost the same process is used for the production of all types of milk - of cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats. In the traditional method the milk is drawn from the milch animals, and distributed fresh to the customers. However, the production of milk for the market demands proper treatment and processing. After the processing, the milk is stored in tetra packs and made available through retail outlets.
During processing of cow milk, heating, ultrasonic treatment, homogenization and fermentation are common processing techniques. This helps to reduce the pathogens, extends the milk's shelf-life and improves its functional properties. At Andhra Dairy Farms the cows are milked using vacuum cups. These are attached to the cow's teats, and the milk is drawn. Next, the milk is sent through stainless steel pipes to large refrigerated vats, and stored at 5°C or less. The milk is later carried in tankers to a milk processing unit within 24 hours. In the milk processing unit the milk is pasteurized and homogenized.
